Why do I need a PCP?
Having a Primary Care Provider (PCP) is one of the most important things you can do for your health. PCP's help coordinate patient care all in one place so that you have the ability to access a wide spectrum of health services, including preventive care.
By developing a relationship with a PCP at Family Health Center, you are ensuring that all of our providers and healthcare staff also know your medical history. This "healthcare team" can more easily detect patterns in your health and recommend lifestyle changes to prevent future complications requiring expensive specialty care. For example, simple testing during a visit with your PCP can reveal health problems, such as high blood pressure, that may go unnoticed leading to more serious issues later in life.
Our family doctors provide ongoing, total healthcare for you and your family. They see all ages of patients, can treat almost any health problem and are dedicated to treating the whole person.
